A newly published statistic regarding the disability in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, showed that annually three thousand newborns were with physical disabilities yet possess the ability and the desire to learn and live. The study also uncovered that a portion of disabilities among people were caused by traffic accidents in Riyadh City alone, resulting in either temporarily 94% or permanently 8% of the total disabilities. The estimated number of people suffering from disabilities through the last thirty years and who are living in the Kingdom was about three hundred seventy thousand. In another word, nineteen people for every thousand are considered traffic accident victims
